Associate Professor Department of Physics, Sogang University
Hyobin Yoo received his B.S. (2010) and Ph.D. (2016) in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University. His graduate study in the groups of Prof. Miyoung Kim and Prof. Gyu-Chul Yi at Seoul National University consisted of investigating the atomic structures of compound semiconductor materials using transmission electron microscopy. He was a post-doctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Philip Kim in the Department of Physics at Harvard University where he studied the correlation between quantum electronic transport and atomic structures of 2-D van der Waals heterostructures. He joined the Department of Physics at Sogang University as a faculty member in 2020. His full CV can be found below.
